After doing research on tuberculosis at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Perú and on protein-protein interactions at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, I decided to pursue my PhD at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  

Currently, I work with Jerome Baudry and Jeremy Smith on ensemble-based docking of small molecules to G-Protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs). The goal of our work is to characterize the statistical and biophysical aspects of protein-drug interactions.
