Frauke Graeter named to Max Planck Directorship

One of Jeremy’s ex graduate-students, Frauke Graeter, is taking up a Directorship at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz. This is one of the most prestigious research positions in Germany and follows impactful work dedicated to deciphering how proteins have been designed to respond to mechanical forces. Frauke worked in the early 2000s with Jeremy and Stefan Fisher on QM/MM studies of ligand binding.
